Hello all, I guess many of you are wondering where I've been or why I haven't blogged in so many years. I decided to give this a try and see where 2009 will take me  . I've missed coming to Xanga and being able to express all of my thoughts. So what's been going on with my life lately? I'm in nursing school and getting ready to graduate the end of this year (December 2009). I can't wait!! I've always loved the medical field but never thought I would love it with a passion, hehe. I feel like everything's falling into place.. Well okay, here's a little update on 2008. 1. I got engaged on July 31st, 2008!!! Thought I would be the one to surprise my fiance on his birthday, turns out he surprised me with a diamond ring! We've been so happy ever since. The wedding is going to be around October of 2010. I know it's crazy but I bought my wedding dress and reception dress already. My sister thinks I'm crazy but 2 years will fly by so I've already begun planning. Well, it's also fun to do it with your bestfriend, hehe. 2. My brother and his wife are expecting their first child this summer. I'm super excited to be an aunt again!! Maybe it'll be a girl -or a boy, either one I'd love him or her just the same. And my nephew, Kevin, is turning 3 years old this April!! Just another reminder that I am getting older. Will be 25 this October  . 3. My bestfriend/sister got married and I couldn't be any happier. Never thought she would get married before me but love comes sooner for some people and she's the lucky one. Love you, Lina. Stay safe in Cuba babe. 4. Lost my dearest friend/sister, Janie Nga Pham, on August 29th, 2008. She was the sweetest angel. Her smile and her stare literally takes your breath away. So gentle and warm, sometimes I wonder how I was so lucky to have met such an angel in my life. She came and she left....her death, she took the warmth of life with her. If I could have it my way, I would want her here with me but that would be selfish because I know she is in a better place... "And when I die and go to heaven,

I love you, Chi Nga! 5. I'll have to come back later but 2009 will be a great year! I can feel it!! I hope everyone have their new year's resolution, whatever it may be or how many. Make sure you atleast accomplish one thing on the list. Never give up! One of my new year's resolution is to get in better shape. Wish me luck  |
